It's easy!
Select some potential dates. You may want to choose a backup date, as Dr. Bruce has several engagements each year. AND ... be sure you know what type of an event you would like to host. Marriage retreats, Family Life Conferences, and Parenting workshops work best over weekends. Consulting with church leaders, depending on where you are, can be set up most anytime.
When you have a date in mind, along with a focus for the event, simply fill out the form found here. How far will he travel ... ?
As far as you want to bring him!
Dr. Bruce is willing to drive up to 4 hours (200 miles from Lancaster, PA) for a weekend engagement. To maximize his time and energy, anything further than that he desires to fly (out of Harrisburg, Baltimore, or Philadelphia). Don't let distance discourage you...he likes to travel. Often Bruce will travel accompanied by his wife, or with a member of his staff. Contact him for details.

Dr. Bruce doesn't want money to be an issue!
One side of the question is: What will the honorarium be used for? House on the Rock Family Ministry is a full-time ministry. This is what we do! And as such, we have salaries, printing costs, and office expenses that need to be met on a monthly basis. It is important that we are good stewards of what God has entrusted us with.
The other side of this question is: How much are you willing to work to insure that this event will be a success? Experience has shown us that: if it costs too little ... churches may not work as diligently to promote and organize the event. To preserve his family life, Dr. Bruce limits his speaking engagements to 2 or 3 weekends a month. That means he has to be a good steward of his time and energy. We evaluate our invitations by asking the question: Does this event afford the best opportunity for affecting changed lives? ... that means quality of the event ... and to some extent quantity.But to answer specifically ... here are several options: Our Board of Directors have established a fee scale for us to charge per event. This is often a flat fee for a weekend event. However, in some cases we may offer the option of a charge per family (couple) ... or ... to take love offerings at every meeting... In addition, we have resources of our materials we would like to make available to the participants as well.
Feel free to call us and talk to us about this... again we do not want money, or the size of your group, to be "thee" issue.

It is YOUR event. You know the needs of your people, families, couples, etc. better than he does. Dr. Bruce will be delighted to work within your plans. He will also be glad to work closely with you in planning the event. He does have several "packaged" events tht he can suggest too.
