Michael "Kapp" Brown
Executive Director – House on the Rock Family Ministries, Lancaster, PA
Michael “Kapp” Brown was raised in a Christian home. His
father was a career Chaplain in the United States Military. Kapp heard
the gospel from a very early age. A fellow “Chaplain’s Kid”
led him to the Lord when he was 10 years old.
Kapp went right into full-time ministry with Covenant Players, a professional
drama / communication company right out of high school. During those thirteen
years of ministry, he received training in leadership and communication
skills along with practical application. His travels with Covenant Players
took him throughout the US, Canada, Europe and even as far away as South
Africa – sometimes ministering in their native languages. He also
met and married his wife through the ministry.
Kapp has been involved with Christian Education since 1983. He has helped
develop 5 Children’s Ministry Networks in the Central PA. He has
presented numerous seminars for pastors, Christian bookstore managers,
and Christian educators. He and his wife, Linda, headed the leadership
for their church’s “Sunday Celebration” - a Children’s
Worship time comprising of 80 + children on a weekly basis for 5+ years.
Kapp is the Executive Director for House on the Rock Family Ministries
– A ministry that provides biblical family life education to churches.
He oversees all Communication, Marketing, and Operations. He has been
married to Linda for over 23 years. Together they have 2 kids –
Andrew, and Danielle. They make their home in Mount Joy, PA.
