There is one thing we share in common – families! We are committed to strengthening marriages and families through biblically based family life education. Over the last four years we have ministered to over 35,000 family members. Your commitment to strong families is evident through your advertising within our community. I’m wondering if we could count on you to work together with House on the Rock to strengthen more marriages?

In 2005, House on the Rock launched a new ministry venture. Fan the Flame Date Nites (FTF). These FTF date nites have provided over 40 of Lancaster County churches with a “plug and play” marriage enrichment ministry. We have had over 300 different couples participate from all over the state, as well as from surrounding areas. We have seen growth at each event and believe it will continue to grow as the word spreads.

We have completed our 3rd season of FTF and are scheduling 5 more of these events throughout 2008-2009. These “date nites” will provide couples with a nice evening out to enjoy some great food, fun and some “knee to knee nose to nose” time to work together on their marriages. We like to call it purpose driven dating.

Our desire is to keep these “date nites” affordable. To this point we have only charged our couples the actual costs of the meal and room. We have not incorporated any of our program expenses into the ticket prices. We do not want high prices to deter couples from coming.
